 7th/8th/9th Grade Tryouts

Tryouts will be held on Monday, August 22nd at Reis Run from 9am-12pm. Shorts, t-shirt, shinguards & water bottle are appropriate.

 

 

  • Seneca Valley – 128 Seneca Valley Rd. – Harmony, PA  16037  – 724-452-6040, ext. 15  Game being played @ Graham Park – 260 Graham Park Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA.  The park is on the westbound side of Rochester Road, about a half mile west of the PA Turnpike underpass.  Traveling east on Rochester, rutn left at the Haine School Road traffic light and follow the signs in the BelleVue neighborhood to Graham Park.
  • Baldwin High School – 4653 Clairton Blvd. – Pittsburgh, PA  15236 – 412-885-7500  Game being played @ Paynter Elementary School.  Take I-279 South to the Liberty Bridge.  Go through the Liberty Tunnel being in the right lane through the tunnel.  Out of tunnel, take loop to the right onto Route 51 South.  Make a left onto Maytide (this is before the intersection of Rts. 51 & 88).  Follow Maytide to the top of the hill and turn right onto Brownsville Road.  Turn left onto Sankey.  Make a right onto Churchview Ave. at the top of the hill.  Stay on Churchview approx. one mile.  Turn right onto Maryann.  Left onto Pleasantvue.  Turn right into the parking lot.
  • Norwin – 724-861-3006  Game being played @ Norwin Soccer Club – Turner Valley Complex.  Take the Parkway East (Route 376) to exit 10, which is Route 30 East at Forest Hills.  Stay on Route 30 for approx. 7 miles.  You’ll come to the intersection of Route 30 and Route 48.  Turn right onto Route 48 South.  Stay on Route 48 until you come to the intersection of Route 48 and Lincoln Way in White Oak.  (Oak Park Mall will be on your left).  Turn left onto Lincoln Way; stay on Lincoln Way for approx. 1-1/2 miles.  Turn right onto Coulterville Road (2nd road on your right).  Follow Coulterville to stop sign at top of hill.  Do NOT follow road around to right after stop sign, but go straight across onto Turner Valley Road.  Soccer fields will be on your right at bottom of hill.
  •  Canon-McMillan – McDowell Lane Field 724-745-1402

Take 79 South to Canonsburg Exit (#45).  At end of ramp, make a left onto McClelland Road.  (You’ll cross over I-79).  You’ll continue on McClelland up hill.  As soon as you top the hilll, make the first left onto McDowell Lane.  Follow McDowell Lane and the fields will be on your left.

  • Mt. Lebanon High School – 155 Cochran Road – Pittsburgh, PA  15228 – 412-344-2006 – (Game being played @ Bird Park Field)

Take the Parkway West to the Greentree Exit.  Turn right onto Greentree Road when coming off the rampway.  Follow Greentree Road for approx. two miles until coming to a ‘T’ intersection.  Turn left at this intersection onto Cochran Road.  Follow Cochran Road for two miles.  Pass Mt. Lebanon High School on the right.  At the light at the top of the hill past the high school, make a right onto Rt. 19.  At the third street (Beadling Street), make a right.  Markham School will be on the left, and Bird Park will be on the right. 

  •  Norwin  – 724-861-3006  Game being played @ Turner Valley Soccer Complex.  From PA Turnpike, exit at North Huntingdon (exit 67).  (You may also take Rt. 30 from Greensburg.)  Follow Rt. 30 West towards Pittsburgh.  After going through four traffic lights, a blinking yellow light and two more traffic lights, make a left at Norwin Towne Square.  Go to the bottom of the hill, make a right onto Lincoln Way for several miles.  At Coulterville Road, make a left (you’ll see a sign for Coulterville Greenhouse at this turn.)  If you come to the Municipal Building, you’ve gone too far.  After turning left onto Coulterville Road, go to the stop sign at top of the hill, follow straight down the other side of hill (do not make a turn.)  Turner Valley sits on the right side of the road at bottom of hill.
  •  Fox Chapel – Dorseyville Middle School – 412-967-2421

From Rt. 8, turn right or left onto Route 910 East.  Follow Rt. 910 to a blinking light (this is Saxonburg Blvd.)  Turn right onto Saxonburg Blvd.  Dorseyville Jr. High is on the left, about 1/4 mile. – last building in the complex.

    Interstate 279 North to Interstate 79 North.  Exit I-79 at Zelienople Exit 87.  Right on Rt. 68E and go 1/4 mile to a flashing light.  Turn left and follow Hartman Road around the golf course for approx. 1 mile.  Turn left onto Seneca School Road.  The school complex will be approximately 1/4 of a mile on the left.  Use the first entrance for access to the football stadium.

  • Shaler Area Intermediate School (Titan Stadium), 1800 Mt. Royal Blvd – 412-492-1200

Take Seibert Road East off McKnight Road to the T intersection.  At T, make a right onto Thompson Run Road.  At next stop sign, make a left onto Vilsack Road.  At the 4-way stop sign at the top of the hill, continue straight on Villsack to traffic light.  Turn right at light onto Mt. Boyal Blvd.  Pass St. Bonaventure Church on right and continue 1/2 mile to Intermediate School on left.  Stadium is behind school.

  • Shaler Middle School, (Scott Ave Field)  700 Scott Avenue, Glenshaw PA 15116 (412/492-1200)

Take Siebert.  At the T intersection, make a left onto Thompson Run Road.  After the sharp curves, make a right onto Hodil.  Go across a little bridge and continue up the hill.  At the intersection, make a right and the school is on the left.

  • Pine-Richland – Pine Park – 724-625-4444, ext. 6800

Take Babcock Blvd. (Red Belt) through North Park (passing lake on your left.)  Continue on Babcock (past North Park Villas housing plans) to the 4-way stop sign intersection of Babcock Blvd. and Route 910 (Orange Belt).  Turn left and go down over hill to a right turn onto Pearce Mill Road.  Take Pearce Mill for 2 miles to Pine Park on the left.

  • Butler – (Jr. High School Athletic Field) – 724-214-3232

From the turnpike – Take exit 4 to Rt. 8 North (17 miles).  Continue on Rt. 8 north which will turn into Main St.  Follow approx. 5 lights to East North St. and turn right.  Junior High School is 2 blocks on the right.

  • Butler – (Intermediate High School Athletic Field) – 724-214-3232

I-79 North to Evans City (exit 26).  Turn right on Rt. 528.  Follow 528 to stop sign at Rt. 68.  Turn right on Rt. 68 east.  Follow 68 through Evans City.  After passing Agway Store (about 12 miles), Sr. High School will be located on the right at the fourth light.  For Intermediate High School – go through Sr. High School complex to stop sign, go straight into Intermediate H.S. entrance.

  • North Allegheny Intermediate School – 724-934-7238

Take Route 19 North to Cumberland Road.  Make a right onto Cumberland.  The intermediate school is the first building on your right after passing Northland Library.

  • North Allegheny – McKnight Elem. School – 724-934-7238

Take Route 19 North to Cumberland Road.  Make a right onto Cumberland.  McKnight Elem. School is at the bottom of the hill on the right, next to the intermediate school.

Sewickley Academy- (Nichols Field)- 412-741-2230

Take Camp Horne Road to Route 65.  Follow Route 65 North for 4 traffic lights.  Turn right onto Broad Street in Sewickley.  Go to the second traffic light and turn left onto Beaver Street.  Follow Beaver Ave. past Sewickley Academy (at Y intersection bear right), go through 2 stop signs, field will be on the right.

  • Chartiers Valley H.S. – Woodville Field – Bridgeville, PA  412-429-2244

Take I-79 South to Exit 55 (Kirwan Heights exit).  Turn left as you come off the ramp onto Route 50 East.  Turn left at first traffic light onto Thoms Run Road.  Go short distance to entrance to high school on the left.  Travel past the high school for a very short distance.  Field will be on the right between the Old Woodville State Hospital and the Chartiers Valley bus garage.

  • Deer Lakes Middle School – 163 E. Union Rd., Russellton, PA – 724-265-5320

Take Route 8 north to the Wildwood Road intersection and make a right (or take Wildwood Road out of North Park towards Rt. 8).  Take Wildwood Road to the first stop sign (@ ‘Y’ intersection) and turn left onto Middle Road.  Go to the next stop sign @ Middle Road and 910 and turn right.  Continue to the first street and make a left onto Oak Road (Orange Belt).  Go to the stop sign and continue straight ahead.  This is now Bairdford Rd.  Take Bairdford to next stop sign and turn left onto Saxonburg Blvd.  Go to ‘island’ intersection and turn right onto E. Union Rd.  The middle school will be on the left. 

  • Mars Area Athletic Complex,   Three  Degree Road, Mars, PA  (724-625-1581)

Take 279 to 79 North.  Exit @ Cranberry.  Head north on Rt. 19 (1 mile) through three traffic lights.  Make a right onto Rt. 228 East.  Follow Rt. 228 East for 7 miles (through 5 traffic lights).  Adams Elementary will be on your left and the high school is 1/2 mile past Adams Elem. on your right.   Turn left onto Three Degree Road at the first light past the high school.  Make a right into the Middle School/Athletic Complex parking lot.

  • Shadyside Academy – Squaw Run Field – 412-968-3125

From Route 8 (all turns are the Green Belt).  Turn onto Harts Run Rd. (at Northwood Realty) – follow to end.  Left onto Dorseyville Rd. – go about ½ mile.  Right onto Fox Chapel Rd. – go about 5 miles – high school entrance on right.  At third “Y” keep straight (1st is Guys Run Rd., 2nd is Powers Run Rd., 3rd is Squaw Run – you follow Fox Chapel Rd. and the Green Belt).  A sharp left will take you to the Sr. School entrance; the third “Y” will take you off the Green Belt.  Middle School is the first right – Squaw Run field is past the Middle School entrance and about ¼ mile on left.

Take Route 8 North.  Go past the intersections at Rt. 228 and past Conley’s Golf (on left).  ONce past Conley’s, make the first right onto Dinnerbell Road.  Follow Dinnerbell Road for 5.2 miles to Knoch High/Middle School on your right.  Soccer field is behind the middle school.

  • Pine-Richland – Richland Elem. – Santacroce Stadium – 724-625-4444, ext. 6800

Take Babcock Blvd. (Red Belt) through North Park.  Continue to the 4-way stop sign intersection of Babcock Blvd. and Route 910 (Orange Belt).  Continue straight on Babcock Blvd.  At the 7-Eleven, bear right onto Red Belt (east).  Follow Red Belt (Bakerstown Rd.) approx. 3 miles.  Entrance to Richland Elem./Stadium is on right.

Interstate 279 North to Interstate 79 North.  Exit I-79 at Zelienople Exit 87.  Right on Rt. 68 for one mile.  Turn left at the blinking light.  Turn left and follow the road back around the golf course.  At the “Y”, bear to the left onto Seneca School Road.   School complex will be on the left.

  • Bethel Park High School – Neil Armstrong Middle School– 412-854-8548

Take Route 88 South to entrance of South Park.  At entrance of park, stay in the middle lane and go up the hill past Papa John’s Pizza.  You’ll go through two lights, then watch for Gillece Transmissions on your right.  The next street on the left will be Berryman Avenue.  Make a left on Berryman and go to the top of the hill and make a left on Murray Ave.  The school sits at the end of the street.

  • Southside Beaver Area High School – 4949 State Rt. 151 – Hookstown, PA  724-573-9582 ext. 2608

Follow Rt. 79 South to the Sewickley exit.  At the stop sign, turn left and go slowly through Glenfield.  At the stop sign, turn right and follow 65 North to the Sewickley Bridge.  Cross the Sewickley Bridge and turn right on Rt. 51 North.  Follow Rt. 51 North approx. 5 miles and turn left at Rt. 151 (Power Station will be on right).  Follow Rt. 151 approx. 12 miles.  Sr. and Jr. High schools are together.  Enter school by way of the 2nd entrance and drive around building to field at top of the hill.
